It’s early (real early) and it still feels like summer (and it still is)…but that doesn’t mean I can’t get excited. Especially when the foliage map is starting to turn yellow in some spots. How exciting is this you ask? Very exciting…so exciting that it’s time to change the theme of this blog.

Perfect… There is no other word to describe today’s weather and happening - first Yankee playoff game in the ew stadium as well… Like I said earlier, the MLB playoffs are a great reminder that it’s fall.

Andrew found this on some blog discussing the renewed ability to walk around the City now that it is Fall again. I love walking around in the City, one of my favorite things to do, right behind sitting at an outdoor cafe with a hoodie on sipping coffee with friends. I think it is definately one of the things that helps NYC transform when Fall rolls around…from a stinky, slimey, hot beast of a city to the City we all love. Also, the cool weather allows one to walk around farmers markets on Union Square eating the free samples and chowing down on a tasty apple…mmm…and some apple butter…
